PUNCHED BRUSHES - TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF BRUSH BODIES |
As outlined previously, the support of the brush is the element that sticks the anchor that holds the tuft. Normally, therefore, it is relatively soft material such as wood or synthetic substances. Exploiting the deformability of the anchor can be used as support material including metal such as aluminum and brass. Brushes that work in "normal" conditions, namely temperature, acid-free, with no humidity and not subjected to heavy loads, in principle, can be used with any type of body: choice will depend on the quality that the brush will have and by economic considerations. For brushes working in special conditions, however, the choice of the body comes from purely technical considerations. |
